SIW 2025 Officially Launches in Antananarivo

This Monday, June 2, the highlights of the 8th Industrialization Week of the SADC (SIW) were presented to the press in the presence of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Industrialization and Trade, and the President of the Syndicate of Industries of Madagascar.



The event, which will be held from July 28 to August 1, 2025, at the Novotel Convention, is announced to be the largest public-private platform dedicated to the economic transformation of the region



Organized jointly by the SADC Secretariat, the Malagasy Government, the SIM and the SADC Business Coucil, this year's edition aims to "Promote industrialization, agricultural system transformation and energy transition for a resilient SADC."



More than 500 participants are expected from 16 Member States, the private sector, financial institutions and the developing world. A rich program has been announced: plenary sessions, round tables, B2B/B2G meetings and a public exhibition space.
